It is the place of Sree Veerabrahmendra Swami Sajeevasamdhi, and where Sree Eshwari Devi Jeeva samadhis are located. Eshwaridevi is the grand daughter of Pothuluru Veerabrahmendra. Eshwaridevi was the descendent of Govindaswami (elder son of Pothuluru Veerabrahmendra) and Girimamba.
